Jack White produces new Wanda Jackson album

The pair first got together in 2009 to cover Amy Winehouse's 'You Know I'm No Good', and have now recorded a further ten tracks.

Released on January 24, 'The Party Ain't Over' was recorded at White's studio in Nashville. Her band included White, his wife Karen Elson, The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence, My Morning Jacket's Carl Broemel, The Raconteurs' Patrick Keeler, Ashley Monroe and Jackson Smith.

Mani accuses Peter Hook of 'living off Ian Curtis' money' as Freebass split

Joy Division news RSS feedMore Joy Division news, reviews, videos and tour datesTweetPrimal Scream bassist Mani has lambasted former Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook, accusing him of "living off Ian Curtis' blood money".

Freebass, the band the pair were in earlier this year, have also announced their split.

Mani posted a host of outbursts on his Twitter account, Twitter.com/maniscream, attacking Hook for supposedly exploiting his past glories. Hook recently performed a series of shows where he played Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures' album in its entirety.

"Three things visible from space, Great Wall Of China, Peter Hook's wallet stuffed with Ian Curtis' blood money, Man City's empty trophy cabinet!" he tweeted, adding: "I've actually got an ongoing career, so I don’t feel the need to exploit my past glories. I exist in the here and the now."

Paul McCartney's son James to release debut EP

Out on September 21, the five-track EP is called 'Available Light' and was produced by Paul McCartney. The EP includes four original songs written by James, plus a cover of Neil Young's 'Old Man'.

The songs were recorded over a two-year period in the US and at London's Abbey Road Studios.

The tracklisting of 'Available Light' is:

'Glisten'
'My Friend'
'Denial'
'Old Man'

Bob Dylan's Brazilian art exhibition opens in Denmark

The collection of 40 acrylic paintings was created especially for the show at the country's National Gallery in Copenhagen and many have never been seen before.

The work features images sketched on Dylan's South American tours, focusing on Brazil.

"I chose Brazil as a subject, because I have been there many times and I like the atmosphere," Dylan explained in a statement to accompany the exhibition.

The show runs until the end of January. There is no word yet whether it will tour.
