Warpaint, Wire, Clinic for Stag & Dagger festival – ticket details

Warpaint, Wire and Clinic are among the acts confirmed to play this year's Stag & Dagger festival.

The festival takes place across six London venues on May 19 and then on May 21 in Glasgow.

Wire, Toro Y Moi and New Young Pony Club have been confirmed to play the London leg, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

Warpaint, Sons & Daughters, Clinic and Three Trapped Tigers will play the Glasgow leg.

The Strokes and Elbow confirm new festival slots for next summer

The Strokes and Elbow have both confirmed more European festival slots for summer 2011.

Elbow, along with Friendly Fires, Beirut and Tinie Tempah, have been added to the bill for the Benicassim festival in Spain.

They join Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, The Strokes and Primal Scream on the bill. Benicassim takes place from July 14-17 near Barcelona.

The Strokes have become the first band to be confirmed for Portugal’s SB Super Rock festival. The festival takes place from July 14–16.

Beady Eye to play Isle Of Wight Festival 2011 – ticket details

Beady Eye have confirmed that they will play next year's Isle Of Wight Festival.

Liam Gallagher's band will go on stage before headliners Kasabian on June 12. The gig is the first festival appearance the group have confirmed.

Kings Of Leon and Foo Fighters are the other headliners for the event, which takes place on June 10-12. Pulp are also on the bill.

Speaking in this week's Christmas issue of NME, which is on UK newsstands and available digitally worldwide now, Gallagher said he believes Beady Eye's debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' is as good as Oasis' 'Definitely Maybe'.

Manics, Brother, Two Door Cinema Club for Isle Of Wight Festival

Manic Street Preachers, Two Door Cinema Club, Public Image Ltd., Plan B, Brother and Cast have been added to the line-up of next year's Isle Of Wight Festival.

Hadouken!, Nick Lowe The Script, Pixie Lott and Starsailor singer James Walsh and Jeff Beck will also now play the event, set to take place on June 10-12.

Arcade Fire join Benicàssim festival line-up - ticket details

Arcade Fire have joined the line-up for next year's Benicassim festival in Spain.

The Montreal outfit are now the fifth band to announce they’ll play at the Spanish festival, with Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, The Strokes and Primal Scream already on the bill.

Benicassim takes place on July 14-17 next year.

The Charlatans, Black Lips for Friends Of Mine Festival 2011

The Charlatans, Black Lips and A Certain Ratio are among the first names to be confirmed for next year's Friends Of Mine Festival.

The new event will take place at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire on May 21-22, 2011.

Other acts set to play include Jim Noir, Electricity In Our Homes, The Phantom Band, Aziz Ibrahim, Wild Palms, The Travelling Band, Black Daniel and Natalie Findlay.

Meanwhile, a number of DJs have also been announced including former Joy Division and New Order drummer Stephen Morris, A Certain Ratio's Martin Moscrop and former Smiths drummer Mike Joyce.

Portishead added to Benicassim 2011 festival bill

Portishead have been added to the bill for next year's Benicassim festival in Spain.

They join The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and Primal Scream for the four-day bash which will be held from July 14-17.

Tom Jones to play Isle Of Wight Festival 2011 - ticket details

Tom Jones is set to make a special guest appearance at next year's Isle Of Wight Festival.

The Welsh singer is set to perform on the Big Top stage on the Saturday (June 11) of the event. He joins headliners Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon and Kasabian, who play the closing night of the three-day bash.

Pulp to reform for 2011 festival appearances

Pulp have announced that they are reforming to play gigs next year.

The Sheffield band, who last played in December 2002, will headline Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival on May 27 and the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park on July 3.

Pulp will feature all the band's original members - Nick Banks, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber alongside frontman Jarvis Cocker. It will be the first time this line-up have shared a stage since 1996.
