Today's top gossip:
Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder gets our king of the jungle vote after enduring a snake bite on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. The singer had to undergo medical treatment after a python sank its teeth into his fingers on the bushtrucker trial. Not surprisingly, he screamed plenty of expletives.
From the papers and beyond:
On the subject of unlikely collaborations now, we didn't see this one coming – Devlin duetting with Paul Weller. The pair sang The Modfather's 'Fast Car/Slow Traffic' at a recent gig at Brighton Centre. "I had butterflies before but after my first verse I saw hands in the audience and that gave me a lift," the rapper admitted (The Sun).
Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has kicked off a catfight with his ex-girlfriend on Twitter. He celebrated Thanksgiving by dissing his former lover. "Happy Thanksgiving everyone," he wrote. "Except 4 ex-girlfriend, happy skanksgiving. You know who you are."
On a lighter note, Shakira has splashed a load of cash to help kids affected by the Haiti earthquake, we read. The singer has stumped up £420,000 from a Christmas ad she recently appeared in to help a school in the country and in her homeland Colombia (Daily Record).
Self-indulgence award of the week goes to Cheryl Cole for getting a seventh tattoo scrawled on her lower back. The red-tops continue to obssess over The X Factor's judge every move as she flashed "what looked like a ribbon" when she entered the show's north London studios (various).
